USC had an official visit over the weekend from Maryland transfer DT Anthony “Tank” Booker (6-3 320). The Cincinnati native entered the Transfer Portal on March 6th after playing four seasons for the Terps. In 24 games in College Park, Booker registered 47 tackles with 8.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. He has also visited Arkansas. When he committed to Maryland out of high school, Booker also had Rutgers, Pitt, Kentucky and Indiana high on his list. He would have two seasons to play at his next stop should he eventually choose to use the Covid free year.

Clemson’s top quarterback target, Air Noland of Fairburn, GA was offered by Ohio State over the weekend while on a visit there. Noland is set to announce his commitment Saturday from a top seven of Clemson, Alabama, Miami, Texas A&M, Ohio State, Oregon and Arkansas. He has visited everyone on the list this year except Oregon.
DT Hevin Brown-Shuler of Atlanta, who tweeted March 27th that he had officially ended his recruitment, said Sunday night he’s not yet made a commitment to any school. “I will make my decision on the announcement day which is quickly approaching.” Brown-Shuler has been working from a short list of Clemson, USC, Georgia, Michigan, Penn State, Colorado, Southern Cal, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, A&M, North Carolina, Oregon and Virginia. He attended junior days in January at Georgia, Michigan and Clemson.
USC did not make the top 12 with TE Caleb Odom of Carrollton, GA. On the list are Ole Miss, Penn State, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee, Michigan, Virginia Tech, Alabama, Colorado, Miami, Georgia Tech and Texas A&M. He did visit USC for a game in November but did not get in for a junior day visit or an unofficial visit prior to announcing his short list.
