STRecruiting Notebook 2-17: Several more players set visits with Clemson; USC target back on the market

SAF Kaden Gebhardt of Lewis Center, OH has set official visits to Clemson May 30th, Ohio State June 6th and Penn State June 13th. He also visited Clemson February 1st and is returning for the junior day March 8th.

DE Kamhariyan Johnson (6-2 250) of Muscle Shoals, AL plans to visit Clemson for the junior day March 8th. He also plans spring visits with Ole Miss, Florida, Auburn and Tennessee.

DE Dre Quinn of Norcross, GA sets an official visit with Clemson for May 30th. He’s also planning to visit for the junior day March 8th.

WR Connor Salmin of Purcellville, VA has set an official visit with Clemson for May 30th.

OT Leo Delaney of Charlotte has set his official visit with Clemson for May 30th. He also will visit Clemson for the junior day March 8th. This spring he also plans to visit NC State, Tennessee, Michigan, Tennessee and Penn State. He’s also looking at North Carolina and Wisconsin for possible visits this spring.

OT Ekene Ogboko of Garner, NC will attend the Clemson official visit weekend May 30th.

OG Canon Pickett (6-4 310) of Tampa has Clemson in his top 10 along with Georgia, Alabama, Florida State, Florida, Oklahoma, Auburn, Miami, Vanderbilt and LSU.

Clemson target Drew Evers (6-4 285) of Flower Mound, TX has set official visits to SMU May 2nd and Texas A&M June 20th.

South Carolina target DT Brian Harris decommitted from Maryland on Sunday. He had been committed since August 2nd. Harris will officially visit Stanford in May on a date to be determined, then he has West Virginia June 6th, NC State June 13th and USC June 20th. He’ll also set a date with Ole Miss.

DT Noah Clark of Durham, NC set an official visit with Duke for May 30th. He also has South Carolina June 6th, Virginia Tech June 13th and NC State June 20th. Maryland offered him on Monday.

CB Justice Fitzpatrick of Fort Lauderdale, who has an offer from South Carolina, was offered by North Carolina Sunday. Michigan also recently offered.

TE DJ Howerton, who has an offer from South Carolina, has set official visits with Rutgers for May 30th and NC State for June 20th.

South Carolina target DE Zion Elee, a Maryland commitment, has set his official visit to Maryland for June 20th. He also plans to take officials to USC, Auburn, Ohio State, Penn State and Texas A&M.

RHP Andrew McLaughlin (6-3 225) of Florida Southwestern JC, and Ashley Ridge High School, committed to South Carolina. In four games this season he is 3-0 with a 2.63 ERA, 17 strikeouts in 13.2 innings.
