Clemson offered Byrnes CB Aidyn Wiggins (6-1 184) on Tuesday night. Syracuse and LSU were in to see him earlier in the day. Those two have also offered, along with Wisconsin, Rutgers, Duke, Appalachian State, NC State, Cincinnati, East Carolina, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Coastal Carolina, Wake Forest, and Virginia Tech. He has set official visits to Rutgers on May 29th, Syracuse on June 5th, and Virginia Tech on June 19th.
Woodruff RB Aiden Gibson committed to Penn State on Tuesday night. He visited State College in April, and has an official visit set with the Nittany Lions for June 12th. He had also set official visits to Rutgers, USC and Virginia Tech. Gibson has become one of the state’s leading running backs, rushing for over 2800 yards and 46 touchdowns over the last two seasons.
SAF Davion Jones of Cornelius, NC named a final five of South Carolina, Georgia, LSU, Auburn, and Indiana. He has an official visit to USC set for June 19th. He will visit Georgia on May 29th, Auburn on June 5th, and LSU on June 12th. He has made numerous unofficial visits to USC for games, camps, and recruiting events.
South Carolina wide receivers coach Mike Furrey made a visit with WR Amare Patterson of Ridgeland and Bluffton High on Tuesday.
South Carolina offered 2028 WR Samir Edwards (6-4 203) and 2030 DB Tyler Williams of Baltimore.
Clemson target CB Nash Johnson set June 24th for his commitment announcement. The Tigers only recently offered Johnson, who also has Auburn, Georgia, Miami, Ole Miss, and Tennessee on his short list. He has official visits set with Auburn on May 15th, Miami on June 5th, and Tennessee on June 12th.
Clemson target DE Asher Ghioto (6-5 240) of Jacksonville told Jeff Sentell of Dawg Nation that he has had a long-standing love for Georgia and that he wears #34 for Herschel Walker. He also said he’s seriously considering reclassifying for 2027. He also cited Texas A&M, Miami, Ohio State, Florida, and Oklahoma as others in play for him. Last season he had 23 sacks and 35 tackles for loss.
PK Michael Gallaway of Bradenton, FL has set an official visit to Clemson for May 29th.
2028 SAF Xavier Gates-Franklin (5-10 173) of Amherst, NY plans to attend a Clemson camp on an invite from the Tigers.
2029 QB Bear Woods of Westside was offered by East Carolina.
