Defensive lineman Devarrick Woods, previously with Texas State, announced a commitment to Clemson, Tuesday.
Woods entered the transfer portal in January and received an extension of eligibility waiver from the NCAA on April 23rd. Woods saw time in 11 games (16 tackles, 1 sack) with the Bobcats last season. Woods had been an all-conference selection at Hinds Community College in 2024 before transferring to Texas State.
Woods chose Clemson over Florida State, Florida, NC State and Colorado. Clemson now has added ten defensive players through the portal, including five defensive linemen.
