STRecruiting Notebook 10-3: South Carolina offers two prospects from Georgia, a cornerback and a receiver

2027 CB Aamaury Fountain (6-1 171) of Warner Robins, GA was offered by South Carolina. He landed offers from Duke and Georgia Tech on Wednesday. He plans to visit Georgia Saturday for the Kentucky game. His offers also include Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M, FIU, Howard, North Alabama and Arkansas State. Fountain has been a quarterback his entire career, and this is his first season playing cornerback. This season he has 24 tackles with nine pass deflections and three interceptions.

South Carolina offered 2027 WR Jabari Watkins (6-2 180) of Thomasville, GA. He committed to Nebraska on September 26th. He also has offers from Maryland, Wake Forest, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Missouri, Illinois, Pitt, Florida State, Cal, Texas A&M, Purdue, Louisville, UCF, USF. Wisconsin, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Minnesota, Arkansas, Mississippi State and Kentucky. He camped at Clemson last summer. Florida State, Cal and Illinois were his other finalists when he committed to Nebraska.

Former Clemson commitment DE Dre Quinn plans to visit Ohio State this Saturday. This will be his second game visit in recent weeks. He visited Tennessee two weeks ago before going public with his decommitment from Clemson.

South Carolina commitment RB Amari Thomas is expected to be among the more than 130 recruits who have indicated they will visit Florida State Saturday for the Miami game according to according to Zac Blostein of Noles247.

Irmo junior OT Nathan Carson and junior DE Jaiden Bryant plan to visit Florida State on Saturday.

2028 WR Jordan Gorham of Timberland plans to visit Florida State on Saturday.

2028 RB Michal Martin of Christ Church will visit Appalachian State on Saturday.
