The Southeastern Conference baseball schedule betrayed South Carolina this past season, resulting in only six victories for the Gamecocks. Next year, the slate doesn’t appear to be any easier, so USC hopes to be a good bit better. And the Gamecocks will have plenty of time to prepare, as the 2026 SEC baseball schedule is already in their hands. On Tuesday, the league office released the 30-game slate, which will begin with a three-game series at Florida on March 13-15.
The middle of March finds the Gamecocks hosting Arkansas for a three game set before the Garnet and Black travels to Georgia on March 27-29. Prior to Easter weekend, Carolina hosts Texas for the first time as an SEC foe on April 2-4, which is a Thursday-Saturday series. Paul Mainieri’s club visits Missouri on April 10-12 and then hosts Mississippi State on April 17-19. The Gamecocks will play back-to-back home SEC series as Kentucky comes into town on April 24-26. The Gamecocks are at LSU on May 1-3 and will close out their home SEC slate on May 8-10 against Alabama. Carolina ends the 2026 regular season at Vanderbilt on May 14-16.
The SEC Tournament will take place May 19-24 at the Hoover Met in Hoover, Ala. All 16 teams will play in the single-elimination event.
