STRecruiting Notebook: The Eaglestaff has landed; Another big offer for in-state prospect; USC lands JUCO OF

One-time South Carolina signee 6-6 North Dakota transfer Treysen Eaglestaff has now committed to West Virginia the Field of 68 reported citing his agent. Eaglestaff committed to USC on March 31st and Lamont Paris announced his signing on social media the next day. However, on April 16th Eaglestaff announced he would not be honoring his signature with the Gamecocks and was looking at other options. West Virginia quickly popped up as a possible new landing spot.

6-4 Jeremiah Israel is transferring to Presbyterian from Northern Kentucky his agency announced. He averaged two points and one rebound per game last season.

Clemson has had contact with San Diego transfer 6-5 Tony Duckett according to basketball coach Max Feldman. Duckett is to visit Oregon State Monday. Utah and Pitt are reportedly also interested. He averaged 10 points and two rebounds per game last season.

6-0 Utah transfer Gianna Kneepkens was to visit South Carolina on Sunday per Talia Goodman of On3. She averaged 19 points and five rebounds per game last season.

2027 WR Sequel Patterson of Indian Land was offered by Michigan.

South Carolina baseball team landed a commitment from OF Aaron Jamison of Fort Scott JC, KS. This season he’s batting .402 with 12 homers and 50 RBIs along with 16 steals. He formerly played at West Virginia.
