Woodruff RB Aiden Gibson has reset his commitment date for May 12th. He’s down to USC, North Carolina, Rutgers, Penn State and Louisville.
WR Iveon Lewis of Richmond has moved his commitment announcement up to May 9th from July 1st. Finalists remain the same…South Carolina, Georgia, Maryland, Kentucky and Virginia Tech.
Clemson offered OL Luke Starcevic (6-5 260) of Kindred, ND while he was in for a visit over the weekend. He was first team All-State last season and had 62 pancake blocks. He also had 48 tackles on defense with 15.5 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He also caught 29 passes for 544 yards and five touchdowns as a tight end. He also recently visited Kansas State. Some of his other offers are Oregon, Purdue, Penn State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Texas Tech, UCF, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Auburn, Oklahoma, Missouri, Iowa and Michigan State.
Clemson offered DE Chaz Gray (6-4 245) of Union, NJ. He also has a USC offer and visited last month. He also made spring stops at Georgia Tech and Ohio State. Some other offers are North Carolina, Tennessee, Boston College, Washington, Duke, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Penn State and Georgia.
Clemson invited OL Aidan Engelbrecht (6-2 305) of New Port Richey, FL to work out for the coaches at one of the June camps.
Clemson target DE Santana Harvey of Lakeland, FL set an official visit with Kentucky for June 12th. He has Clemson May 29th, Florida State June 5th, Georgia Tech June 9th and Notre Dame June 19th. He plans to commit between July 4th and July 11th. Clemson defensive ends coach Chris Rumph visited Harvey last week.
Clemson receivers coach Tyler Grisham paid a visit to WR Brayden Wessinger (6-3 180) of Jacksonville over the weekend. In his career, he has 85 catches for 1511 yards and 19 touchdowns.
PK Leif Hansen of Canton, GA visited Clemson last Friday Last season he was 10-12 on field goals with a long of 49, and 64-66 in PATS. He has an offer from Navy. This spring he also visited Georgia, Georgia Tech, Boston College, Princeton and Yale.
2028 QB Kingston Preyear (6-3 195) of Alexander City, AL has Clemson in his top six along with Vanderbilt, Florida, Notre Dame, Alabama and Auburn.
South Carolina offered 2028 WR Malachi Lee of Chantilly, VA.
South Carolina offered 2028 SAF Giovanni Tuggle (6-0 175) of Winder, GA.
2028 OT Ty Winn (6-8 270) of Philadelphia has South Carolina down for the junior day on May 17th and a visit to Texas two weeks later.
Gray Collegiate LB Michael Boulware has signed with The Citadel.
2029 DL Emavian Gibson (6-2 260) of Dorman was offered by Charlotte.
Basketball News:
6-1 Kobe Edwards of Wilson, NC committed to the College of Charleston. He had signed with Elon last Fall but got his release.
Furman added transfer point guard Luka Toews to its roster for the 2026-27 season. Toews, who arrives at Furman with two years of eligibility, spent his first two collegiate seasons at Boston College where he averaged 4.2 points and 1.8 assists per game over 53 contests while connecting on 36.8% of his three-point attempts.
