Clemson staged its first major scrimmage of pre-season camp Saturday. As is the case in most early scrimmages, the defense apparently held the upper hand. The Tigers are replacing some key cogs from last year’s unit but still look strong in their front seven. That includes linebacker Wade Woodaz who will move into a fulltime starter’s role after starting five games last season.
The Tigers practiced again this morning and Woodaz was one of the players to meet with the media following the workout.
