Jalon Walker

2022 LB Jalon Walker of Salisbury, NC named a top 6 of Clemson, North Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn and Ohio State. Walker is an outside linebacker and is rated a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He’s ranked #41 nationally in his class, the #2 outside linebacker and the #2 prospect in North Carolina. Some of the offering schools not making the cut were USC, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, LSU, Texas, Florida State, Kentucky, Virginia, NC State and Wake Forest.

Clemson target 2022 DE Jihaad Campbell of Sicklerville, NJ was offered by Florida State.

USC offered 2022 TE Darren Agu (6-7 235) of Rabun Gap, GA. He just moved to Georgia four months ago from England. Some other offers are Florida State, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Iowa State and Coastal Carolina.

Clemson offered 2022 SAF Xavier Nwankpa (6-2 190) of Altoona, IA. He’s rated a 4-star on the 247Sports Composite and ranked the #10 safety nationally in his class and the #2 prospect in Iowa.

Clemson target 2022 DT Caden Curry of Greenwood, IN was offered by Notre Dame.

Samford grad transfer LB John Staton, who had USC in his final three, committed to Georgia for his final season. Georgia Tech was the other program on his short list.

CB Donate Balfour of Starke, FL, who has had USC in his top three, was offered by Missouri.

USC target DE Ian Mathews of Columbus, GA was offered by Auburn.

USC target DE Byron Young of Georgia Military was offered by TCU.

USC extended PWO offers to West Florence TE Dylan Snyder (6-3 235) and OLB/RB Ronnie Porter (6-1 200) of Heathwood Hall.

Hartsville native RB Tiyon Evans of Hutchinson JC, KS, who once was committed to Tennessee, plans to announce his next decision soon. Tennessee remains involved, plus he has recent offers from Missouri, Auburn, East Carolina, Massachusetts and Liberty.

Green-Sea Floyds RB Jay Dixon committed to Georgia State.

West Virginia offered 2022 OL Drew Bobo of Hammond, son of USC offensive coordinator Mike Bobo. He also has an offer from the Gamecocks and others.

6-7 Taquan Woodley of Camden, NJ, formerly committed to Penn State, named a new top 5 of USC, St. Joseph’s, Temple, Georgia and St. John’s.

The early signing period for basketball begins Wednesday.  Clemson is set to sign 6-3 Joshua Beadle of Cardinal Newman, 6-8 Ian Schieffelin of Loganville, GA and 6-6 Lucas Taylor of Wake Forest, NC.  USC will sign 6-4 Devin Carter of Miami, 6-2 Jacobi Wright of Legacy Charter in Greenville and 6-5 Carlous Williams of Gulfport, MS. 

The USC women have plans to sign 5-11 Bree Hall of Dayton, 6-0 Saniya Rivers of Wilmington, 6-3 Sania Feagin of Ellenwood, GA and 5-8 Raven Johnson of Atlanta.  The Clemson women have commitments from 5-7 Sydney Standifer of  Denton, TX,  5-11 Kionna Gaines of Atlanta and 6-3 Makayla Elmore of Fostoria, OH.
