Jager Burton

Clemson target OG Jager Burton (6-4 270) of Lexington, KY announced Sunday night he will stay home and play for the Kentucky Wildcats. Along with Clemson, Burton also had Alabama, Ohio State and Oregon on his short list. Clemson offensive line coach Robbie Caldwell intensely recruited Burton. His close friend and former teammate is Clemson freshman offensive lineman Walker Parks. The two certainly discussed playing together, but in the end that wasn’t enough to lure Burton from the Wildcats. Clemson has three offensive linemen committed but no guards. They are still involved with tackles Tristan Leigh of Fairfax, VA, Nolan Rucci of Lititz, PA and Diego Pounds of Raleigh. The Tigers have not yet offered Pounds.

2022 LB Jalon Walker of Salisbury, NC named his top ten as Clemson, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Auburn, Texas A&M, Texas, Georgia, Ohio State, LSU and Arizona State. USC was among his other offers. He visited Clemson and NC State in early March. He also camped at Clemson last summer.

One-time USC and Clemson target DB Nathaniel Wiggins of Atlanta committed to LSU.

USC offered 2023 DE Antonio Camon (6-3 200) of Brandon, FL

Boiling Springs DT Ethan Rennels named a top five of Gardner-Webb, VMI, FIU, North Carolina A&T and Charleston Southern. 

6-8 Ian Schieffelin of Loganville, GA has Clemson in his final five along with Virginia Tech, Richmond, Dayton and Appalachian State.

USC target 6-9 Langston Wilson Georgia Highlands JC was offered by Texas A&M.
