SAF Jermard Albright of Springfield, GA, who committed to the Gamecocks last Christmas Day, made an official visit to Florida State over the weekend, and left as committed to the Seminoles. His OV to USC was scheduled for June 19th. He’s the third commitment the Gamecocks have lost from their 2027 class. Albright’s defection leaves the Gamecocks with eight commitments, with one on the defensive side.
South Carolina target DE KJ Green of Stone Mountain, GA committed to LSU. He was scheduled for an OV to USC next weekend.
Crestwood RB Calvin Wofford committed to Charlotte.
Former Timberland WR Jordan Gorham will camp at Alabama on Monday.

Laurens native OF Bennett Edwards has committed to Clemson as a free agent from Georgia Southern. He was on the Sun Belt All-Freshman Team after hitting .287 with three homers and 16 RBIs. He can also play catcher.
RHP Landon White (6-6 200), who pitched at Bryant this season, is headed to Clemson. He made three appearances this season, including three innings at Clemson in February, in which he struck out four, walked two, and allowed two hits.
Also heading to Clemson is INF Isaac Incinelli of St. Johns River State College in Florida. This season, he hit .366 with nine homers and 45 RBIs.
