


South Carolina has one quarterback committed for 2027 in Jerry Meyer III of Texas. Thursday night after camp, offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Kendal Briles offered Luke Gaither (6-4 187) of Radford, VA. Gaither has also been offered by Arkansas, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State, Charlotte, Liberty, UNLV, Southern Miss, and others. He is scheduled for an official visit to Charlotte this weekend. In his career, Gaither has passed for 3900 yards with 31 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.
Some other quarterbacks camping at USC this week: Jaiden Noel (6-0 185) of Katy, TX, 2028 KJ Simpson (6-1 181) of Loganville, GA, and 2029 Jacob Lau (6-4 210) of Tampa, and 2029 Stephen Choe of Phoenix camped at Clemson on Wednesday and will camp at South Carolina on Friday.
After camp on Thursday, South Carolina offered DE Riley Nowell (6-3 225) of McDonough, GA, 2028 CB Justin Austin ot Tyrone, GA, and 2028 DB DJ Ford of Buford, GA. USC is the first P4 offer for Nowell. In 10 games last season, he recorded 75 tackles with one sack and one tackle for loss.
