STRecruiting Notebook 5-6: USC assistant Dre Bly doing work in home area in Virginia; In-state TE gets USC offer; Clemson offers another CB

South Carolina offered OL Mahlek Marsh (6-5 300) of Virginia Beach, VA. He has already set June 25th for his commitment announcement. South Carolina assistant secondary coach Dre Bly, a native of the Virginia Beach area, visited Marsh on Tuesday and relayed the offer. Some of his other offers are Pitt, UConn, Memphis, ODU, Southern Miss and Ohio.

Bly also extended USC offers to three other prospects from his former backyard:

  • 2028 LB Corvin Watson o(6-2 220) of Norfolk, VA
  • 2028 OL Alvin Holland (6-4 263) of Suffolk, VA.
  • 2029 DB Kevin Knight (6-2 200) of Suffolk, VA.

2028 TE Riggs Savage (6-6 235) of Powdersville was offered by South Carolina.

Clemson target OL Elijah Hutcheson committed to Florida.

CB Brandon Leavell (6-2 170) of Nashville was offered by Clemson while on a visit Monday. He has an official visit set with the Tigers for May 29th.

PK William Bowers of Elizabethton, TN visited Clemson on Tuesday.

South Carolina target CB Joshua Dobson was visited Tuesday night by LSU secondary coach Corey Raymond.

Former Dillon 2029 QB Khayel Sam Fong-Talia, who now lives in Georgia, was offered by Georgia.
