Another visitor from this weekend’s Elite Retreat fell for Clemson. Late Sunday night, OG Chancellor Barclay (6-4 290) of Minneola, FL announced a commitment to the Tigers becoming the fifth prospect who visited for the Elite Retreat to make a pledge to Dabo Swinney.
““All Glory to God! Blessed to be able to praise him at this school! GO TIGERS!,” is how Barclay put it on social media in making his announcement. He chose the Tigers over Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma. He also considered Alabama, Penn State, Miami, Florida State, West Virginia and Texas A&M.
On3 had a projection of Barclay to Florida in his online profile.
Barclay camped at Clemson last summer and offensive line coach Matt Luke visited him at his school in January. He returned to Clemson for the Louisville game last November. He is scheduled for his official visit to Clemson on May 30th. He also had officials ser with Florida, Georgia and Oklahoma.
Barclay is the fourth offensive line commitment for the Tigers’ 2026 class and the 10th overall.
