Laurens native OF Bennett Edwards has committed to Clemson as a free agent from Georgia Southern. He was on the Sun Belt All-Freshman Team after hitting .287 with three homers and 16 RBIs. He can also play catcher.
Clemson Monday offered 2028 DE Asher Ghioto (6-6 245) of Jacksonville. Ghioto has visited Clemson and is regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2028 class, with over 60 offers at this point.
Clemson Monday offered 2028 LB Jay Schell (6-3 215) of Rabun Gap, GA. His father is a former Clemson quarterback.
Clemson target CB Nash Johnson committed to Auburn. He was originally committed to Alabama.
