North Greenville University no longer is known as the Crusaders. The school is now known as the Trailblazers. But NGU is on a crusade to improve on last season’s 5-5 mark. They won their last two games, and that momentum carried over into the offseason.
The Trailblazers have a veteran quarterback in Dylan Ramierz and a veteran support group around him. The offense should produce more than the 22 points per game of last season. The defense will be led by linebacker Rylan Ashe and has also shown improvement in camp.
The Trailblazers will play one final season in the Gulf South Conference before joining Conference Carolinas for the 2025 season. They will open their season at home September 5th against NAIA power Keiser University.
