STRecruiting Notebook 5-1: Clemson makes the cut with key receiver target; USC set for first official visits of campaign

WR Deshawn Hall of Prattville, AL named Clemson among his top seven schools on Thursday night. The others are Tennessee, Alabama, Auburn, Penn State, Michigan, and Ohio State. Hall has Clemson scheduled for an official visit on May 29th. He also has dates set with Penn State, Auburn and Tennessee on the following weekends.

Clemson receivers coach Tyler Grisham visited WR Lawrence Britt of Memphis on Thursday night. Britt is scheduled for an official visit to Clemson on May 29th. Missouri, Ole Miss, Arkansas, Florida and Texas Tech are his other favorites.

Identical twin brothers, 2028 WR/DB Quinn and Cole Pollock (6-1 180) of Powder Springs, GA, were offered by South Carolina. They also have offers from Cal, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Miami, Tennessee, Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss, Purdue, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, and Pitt. Quinn is 30 seconds older.

South Carolina offered 2030 LB Rodney Walker Jr. (6-2 191) of Buford, GA.

2030 DE Zahkir Muhammad (6-4 225) of Stone Mountain, GA was offered by South Carolina.

College of Charleston coach John Groce has announced the signing of Ben Bradford to the 2026-27 Cougars’ roster. The 6’5′ rising junior guard spent the last two seasons at Charlotte under current Cougar assistant coach Aaron Fearne. He led the 49ers offense this past season, averaging 13.5 points per game with 23 games in double-figures while shooting 45% from the field.
