2024 LB CJ Kubah-Taylor (6-3 220) of Olney, MD is taking an official visit to Clemson this weekend. He was offered by the Tigers on Friday as his weekend got underway. He has been projected to commit to the Tigers by Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated. He’s a teammate of Clemson commitment Darien Mayo. He has offers from Charlotte, Marshall, Towson, Delaware State, Maine, Morgan State, Navy and Temple. Clemson had been focusing on Bradley Shaw of Hoover, AL for this linebacker spot, but he may be headed to Arkansas.
OT Mason Wade (6-5 290) of Purcellville, VA, a Duke commitment who was offered by Clemson Thursday, is taking an official visit with the Tigers this weekend. Wade has been committed to Duke since mid-June and has not publicly decommitted from the Blue Devils.
Tennessee transfer OL Addison Nichols (6-5 327) was expected to visit Clemson today according to Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated. He is scheduled to leave Clemson and go to Arkansas for a weekend official visit according to WholeHogSports.
Georgia transfer OL Austin Blaske, who drew interest from Clemson OL coach Matt Luke, committed to North Carolina.
OT Monroe Mills of Texas Tech is still on his official visit to USC after arriving Thursday. TE Brady Hunt of Ball State is scheduled for an official visit this weekend with the Gamecocks.
