Clemson suffered their second straight loss, and fourth of the season, Saturday in Raleigh against NC State, and quarterback Cade Klubnik had another up and down performance. Klubnik completed 33 of 50 passes but had two picked off, one for a pick-six, and he did not throw a touchdown pass. He also fumbled on a sack, but the ball was recovered by a teammate.
The pressure from the outside on the Texas sophomore continues to grow with each Clemson loss. The Tigers are now 4-4 overall and 2-4 in the ACC with a non-league game coming up Saturday against 12th ranked Notre Dame. Klubnik did not meet with the media following Saturday’s game, so his Monday morning session was his first opportunity to talk publicly after the defeat.
