USC staged their second major recruiting weekend in June this past weekend. One of the top defensive targets in the group of 11 visitors was Nnamdi Ogboko (6-5 320) of Garner, NC. Ogboko said he had a very good weekend and he ranks the Gamecocks in his top three with Georgia and Florida. He will visit Florida this weekend and Georgia the following weekend.

Clemson target 2025 RB Gideon Davidson of Lynchburg, VA will announce his commitment decision Wednesday morning at 11:45. He has been to Clemson several times, including this past week, and the Tigers are considered favorites.

Clemson target CB Corian Gipson of Lancaster, TX did not make visit to Alabama over the weekend as was previously scheduled. He is scheduled to visit TCU and Ohio State this coming week and Texas June 23rd.

USC is in the top seven with WR Zy’marion Lang of Palmetto, FL. The others are West Virginia, USF, Pitt, Kansas, Kansas State and Texas A&M.

DE CJ Jackson of Tucker, GA, who has been in communication with USC about a possible visit, planned to visit Alabama Saturday.

New USC offers: 2024 P Mason Love (6-0 175) of Parkville, MO; 2024 LB Justin Okoronkwo (6-3 200) of Germany, a Maryland commitment; 2024 OT Noel Portnjagin (6-5 330) of Germany.

New Clemson offers: 2025 SAF Jordan Young (6-0165) of Monroe, NC; 2025 OT Jaylan Beckley (6-5 300) of Addison, TX; 2025 DT Christian Garrett (6-4 290) of Monroe, GA; 2025 CB Timothy Merritt (6-0 185) of Birmingham; 2025 WR Cortez Mills (6-1 170) of Homestead, FL.

Former USC commitment OT Mike Williams made an official visit to Florida over the weekend.

USC and Clemson target 2025 OT David Sanders visited Florida State over the weekend.

Clemson target 2025 QB George MacIntyre was offered by FIU for football and basketball.

Calhoun County WR Christian Zachary, who recently committed to Virginia, was offered by NC State.

SAF Quaysheed Scott of Marion was offered by Charlotte.

The USC women offered 2026 6-0 Trinity Jones of Naperville, IL.
