For the first time this season, Clemson baseball is coming off an ACC series victory. This past weekend, the Tigers took two out of three at Florida State, improving to 19-14 overall and 4-8 in the league. On Saturday, Caden Grice powered and pitched his team to the series-clinching 6-2 victory over the Seminoles. Grice belted a grand slam and threw six and a third innings to record the win on the mound. The rare accomplishment also got former Clemson Sports Information Director Tim Bourret reviewing the history books.
On Monday, Tigers head coach Erik Bakich joined SportsTalk to discuss the series win at Florida State. He also elaborated on a very special weekend ahead for Clemson baseball, along with previewing Tuesday’s matchup at Georgia.
