The dust has settled on the NCAA baseball selections and now it’s time to play the games. On Monday, Coastal Carolina was the only school in South Carolina to receive a bid to this year’s tournament and for the Chanticleers, it is a return to past glory. Coastal is the #3-seed in this weekend’s Greenville, North Carolina regional and will face 2nd seeded Virginia in the first round on Friday at 6pm. The last time Coastal began an NCAA tournament in the Tar Heel State, the Chanticleers claimed the 2016 Raleigh regional en route to their first national championship.

On Monday night, CCU head coach Gary Gilmore dropped by SportsTalk to discuss the Chanticleers 18th NCAA regional appearance and how proud he is that CCU will be the lone team from the Palmetto State playing this weekend.
