Coordinators’ Corner Bowl Edition: Lembo, Satterfield, and White talk #Gamecocks and Tarheels (AUDIO)

Zeb Noland will be USC’s starting QB for the Duke’s Mayo Bowl against North Carolina

South Carolina football has begun to sharpen its focus on North Carolina for next week’s Duke’s Mayo Bowl game in Charlotte. The border battle marks the 59th time that USC and UNC have met on the gridiron. North Carolina leads the all-time series by a 35-19-4 margin, including a 3-1 mark when playing at a neutral site. However, the Gamecocks have won three of the last four and six of the last eight contests against the Tarheels. Kickoff is set for 11:30am at Bank of America Stadium on Thursday, December 30th.

On Monday, it was time to hear from the coordinators as Marcus Satterfield, Clayton White, and Pete Lembo met with the media for a little pre-Christmas football cheer. The trio chatted about practice, recruiting, defections, and the Tarheels.
