Former USC commitment SAF Jyvonte McClendon of Lakeland, FL indicated thru a post on his Instagram Friday that he plans to join the Gamecocks 2022 class soon. McClendon did not sign last Wednesday as things were being sorted out regarding his arrest on a felony charge November 28th for shooting into a car. McCledon argued he fired into the car to stop the driver from ramming his mother’s car. It’s possible charges may have been dropped but that’s not been confirmed.

Greenville QB Pro Franklin was offered by Tennessee-Martin. SC State has become a major factor for him, and he plans to take an official visit there in January. Franklin said he’s also looking at Marshall and UT-Martin for January visits. He had been in conversation with USC about one of their spots, but with their recent quarterback commitments, that possibility is over. This season Franklin passed for 3432 yards and 37 touchdowns.

2023 QB Raheim Jeter Spartanburg plans to announce Monday. He’s choosing between West Virginia an Kentucky.

Greer native TE Jaleel Skinner, who played this season at IMG Academy, flipped from Alabama to Miami. He committed to Alabama in October, but he took a visit to Miami two weekends ago.

Bluffton DE DJ Aiken committed to FIU.

Former Clemson LB Kane Patterson is transferring to Vanderbilt.

Former Clemson OL Paul Tchio is transferring to Georgia Tech.

Coastal Carolina PK Massimo Biscardi has entered the Transfer Portal as a grad transfer. He made 46 of his 57 field goal attempts with the Chants.

WR Senika McKie is transferring from Erskine to UNLV. He’s out of Ridge View High School.

USC offered 2023 RB Treyaun Webb (6-0 188) of Jacksonville. Webb is one of the top running back prospects in his class and has already decommitted twice, from Georgia and Oklahoma. In his career Webb has rushed for 2371 yards and 27 touchdowns.

USC offered 2023 TE Connor Cox (6-6 220) of Jacksonville.

USC offered 2024 DB CJ Heard (5-11 190) of Atlanta.

Clemson offered 2023 6-7 Coen Carr of Stockbridge, GA who attends Legacy Early College in Greenville. He also has offers from Georgia, Georgia Tech and Indiana.
