USC is off to a 1-2 start following a loss at 10th ranked Houston Saturday, a game win which the Gamecocks led by four at halftime, but turnovers and missed free throws cost them in the second half when they were outscored by 14 points. The Gamecocks will play their home opener Thursday against Wofford before going back on the road Monday for a game at George Washington. There is no panic in Frank Martin. In meeting with the media Tuesday morning, Martin said he is still pleased with his guys, and the two losses came against two very good teams.
