Clemson’s 2019 recruiting officially ended around 12:10 this afternoon when RB Jerrion Ealy of Jackson, MS announced he will stay home and sign with Ole Miss. Ealy was originally committed to the Rebels but decommitted as he took official visits to Clemson, Alabama and Mississippi State.
“It was a family atmosphere, it’s a place that will never get old. And it was home away from home” Ealy said on ESPN2 following his announcement.
Ealy will have another decision to make this summer when he is likely a first round pick in the baseball draft.
Clemson still signed a pair of running backs in the class in Michel Dukes and Chez Mellusi.
