#KornRecruit: #Clemson and #Gamecocks announce more signees

Michel Dukes

Clemson added two more signees to its 2019 football recruiting class Wednesday morning in RB Michel Dukes of First Baptist and OL Mason Trotter of Dorman.  The Tigers now count 29 signees for their 2019 class.

Dukes rushed for over 8000 yards in his career and scored 117 touchdowns.  He’s the second running back signed for the class.  The Tigers are awaiting the announcement from RB Jerrion Ealy of Jackson, MS at around noon today.  He also has Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Alabama on his list.

Trotter played in the Shrine Bowl and also had offers from Louisville, Appalachian State,  Syracuse and Coastal Carolina.  Originally, Clemson presented him with a preferred walk-on spot but in signing him today the Tigers upgraded that offer to a grayshirt.  He’s the fourth offensive lineman signed for the class.

USC has signed one more today for its 2019 class in OL Williams Rogers (6-4 295) of Hampton, GA.  Rogers committed to the Gamecocks last week and is the fifth offensive linemen in the class.

The Gamecocks are hopeful of adding two more signees this afternoon in CB Jammie Robinson of Leesburg, GA and DT Jaquaze Sorrells of Winter Park, FL.  Robinson also has Kentucky, Tennessee and Auburn on his list for a 2:00 PM announcement.  Sorrells also has Penn State and Alabama on his for a 1:30 announcement.
