Clemson offered OT Timi Aliu (6-5, 298) of Locust Grove, GA, on Wednesday night. South Carolina offered him in February, but there hasn’t been much follow-up there. He also has offers from Arkansas, Louisville, Florida State, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, Tennessee, Florida, Kansas, LSU, Georgia, Auburn, Nebraska, Mississippi State, and others. Aliui took an official visit to Illinois in April, and his June dates are currently filled by Syracuse, Florida, Georgia, and Nebraska. The Gators and Cornhuskers have been reported as the favorites.
CB Nash Johnson of Powder Springs, GA, set an official visit to Clemson for June 12th. He has a commitment date of July 1st. He also has Cincinnati, Syracuse, and Virginia Tech scheduled. He was visited by LSU secondary coach Corey Raymond on Wednesday.
Byrnes CB Aidyn Wiggins has changed his May 29th official visit from Rutgers to Auburn. He’s a Clemson target as well.
South Carolina offered 2028 QB Trey Tagliaferri (6-2 190) of Oradell, NJ. Some of his other offers include Ohio State, Georgia, Florida, Boston College, Missouri, Iowa, North Carolina, Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Penn State, Arkansas, Alabama, and Ole Miss. Last season, he passed for 2215 yards, 29 touchdowns, and three interceptions.
South Carolina offered 2028 QB Lukas Prock (6-3 195) of Princeton, NJ. His offers also include Maryland, LSU, Louisville, Iowa, Georgia, Notre Dame, Auburn, Florida, UCLA, and Nebraska. Last season, he passed for 4330 yards, 41 touchdowns and seven interceptions.
South Carolina offered 2029 WR Jordan Peacock (6-0 170) of Marietta, GA. Last season, he had 55 catches for 757 yards and five touchdowns.
Sumter RB Franklin Richardson was offered by Stanford.
2028 DE Christian Webb-Scott of Westside was offered again by Indiana and Southern Cal.
Catawba Ridge DE Alex Johnson (6-4 225) set an official visit to Louisville for May 29th. He made an official visit to NC State earlier in the month, and he has visits set with Boston College on June 5th, Vanderbilt on June 12th, Virginia on June 14th, and Michigan on June 19th. He’s also a high-level wrestler.
2029 RB Brayden Boults of Crestwood was offered by Colorado State.
RHP 6-6 Collin Smith of Cochise JC, AZ, announced a de-commitment from South Carolina. Over the last two seasons, he struck out 177 in 167.2 innings, and pitched to a 4.19 ERA.
