USC has added another transfer offensive lineman ahead of the 2026 season. On Saturday, the Gamecocks announced the signing of free agent Vincent Chen (6-8, 330), who spent the past two seasons at Stetson.
As a sophomore last season, Chen started the first game at right guard and then came off the bench for the next two. He started at left tackle for the final nine games. He was a four-game starter at right tackle in 2024, which was his first season in college football. He played five games that season as a freshman and was named an honorable mention All-PFL selection.
Chen played high school football at DeLand (Fla.), where he also competed in weightlifting and track. He was a captain as a senior on the football team.
Chen (6-8, 330) has logged more than 1,000 snaps during his college career. He is the ninth offensive lineman to transfer into the program this offseason. Auburn and Vanderbilt were also contenders, but the Gamecocks appeared to have won him over during an on-campus visit this past Thursday.
