Graduate transfer 6-8 Marcus Kell is set to join the Furman men’s basketball program for the 2026-27 season, it was officially announced this week by Paladin head coach Bob Richey. Kell, a native of Fort Mill, joins the Paladins after four years at Southern Conference rival Western Carolina and will have one season of eligibility. Kell averaged 13.6 points and 4.8 rebounds per game as a redshirt junior this past season while starting all 31 games for the Catamounts.
