South Carolina offensive line target Brady Hull of Pulaski, KY, announced a commitment to Kentucky on Thursday afternoon. Hull had a long-standing relationship with the Gamecocks dating back to last summer when he was offered. He made several visits to Columbia for recruiting events and games. Plus, his sister played softball for the Gamecocks. But in the end, the pull of the home-state program proved to be too strong, and new Kentucky coach Will Stein picked up his first commitment for the 2027 class.
South Carolina offered WR Chuck Alexander (6-3 190) of Cincinnati. He’s been committed to Louisville since November. He also has offers from Iowa State, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, Northwestern, Purdue, Wisconsin, Iowa, Indiana, Pitt, Maryland, Kentucky and others.
South Carolina offered OL Bryson Hurt (6-4 305) of Gainesville, GA. He also has offers from Colorado, Auburn, Georgia, Purdue, Arkansas, Wake Forest, UCF, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Georgia Tech, Nebraska, Duke, NC State, Pitt, and others. He visited USC last April.
