STRecruiting: USC continues to rebuild its offensive line by adding Purdue transfer Hank Purvis

South Carolina’s rebuilt offensive line picked up a second puzzle piece on Tuesday afternoon. According to Allen Trieu of 247 Sports, Purdue transfer Hank Purvis (6-5 360) agreed to contract terms with the Gamecocks after visiting on Tuesday. By Week 7 of this past season, Purvis was Purdue’s starting left guard. He started two games there, then three at right guard before finishing the season as the starter at left guard.  According to Pro Football Focus, Purvis logged 496 total snaps in 2025.   Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Purvis began his collegiate career at UNLV in 2024. He played 69 snaps for the Rebels, where he saw action at both guard spots.  He’s the fourth free agent signee for the Gamecocks.
