Joyce Edwards had 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead the second ranked USC women to a 69-52 win over the 8th ranked Southern Cal women Saturday night in Los Angeles.
The Gamecocks held the Trojans to seven fourth quarter points on 3-14 shooting, while scoring 14 points to put the game away.
USC won the boards 46-32 including 21 offensive rebounds they converted into 15 second change points. The Gamecocks also outscored the Trojans 44-28 in the paint. Raven Johnson added 14 points and 11 rebounds
The Gamecocks are 4-0 and will host Winthrop on Wednesday night.
