2027 WR Sequel Patterson of Indian Land announced on Sunday afternoon that he is reclassifying for the 2026 class. His offers include South Carolina, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Florida State, Arkansas, NC State, Texas A&M, Virginia, Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana, West Virginia and Syracuse. Clemson is also involved, and Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated reported that Patterson will visit Clemson on Monday. Last season, he had 52 catches for 758 yards and seven touchdowns, and he rushed for 441 yards and three touchdowns. On defense, he had had 23 tackles with eight pass deflections and two interceptions.
Clemson Saturday offered WR Devin Fitzgerald (6-2 196) of Phoenix, son of former NFL star receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Father and son were at Clemson over the weekend. Fitzgerald has also visited UCLA and has visits coming up with Stanford, Notre Dame and North Carolina.
LB Tyler Atkinson of Loganville, GA commented to On3 about his official visit to Clemson: “The overall visit was incredible and Clemson was more than welcoming to me. tt was the meaning of priority. Clemson still remains a top school for me, and I was really impressed with everything.” Atkinson has not revealed his other official visits.
OT Carter Scruggs said this to On3 about his visit to Clemson over the weekend: “They are in the lead right now but I am still heavily considering other schools,” Scruggs said. “Right now I still plan on taking my future OVs but I might be closer than I originally thought.” He is scheduled for Michigan, Penn State and Georgia the next three weekends.
DE Dre Quinn said this to On3 about his visit to Clemson over the weekend: “It was an amazing experience in Death Valley,” Quinn said. “The energy, the tradition, the way the staff and players welcomed us, it all stood out.” Quinn has also visited Georgia Tech and is scheduled for Georgia, Texas and Notre Dame the next three weekends.
OT Leo Delaney said this to On3 about his visit to Clemson over the weekend: “Clemson is absolutely a top contender and I feel like they’re a one-of-a-kind program and it absolutely helped them.” He has Penn State, Michigan and Tennessee scheduled for the next three weekends. Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated issued a projection to Clemson for Delaney this morning.
Timberland OT Desmond Green visited Georgia over the weekend. He has requested that the media not contact him until he has completed his official visits. He is scheduled for Oklahoma, Florida and South Carolina the next three weekends. He has also been to Virginia Tech.
2027 Byrnes RB David Segarra was offered by Clemson on Sunday. He has camp stops set with Tennessee, Clemson, Florida State and Florida, and a 7×7 at South Carolina.
Also on Sunday, Clemson offered 2027 prospects LB Max Brown of Jefferson, GA, the brother of current Tiger linebacker Sammy Brown, LB Kaden Henderson of Tampa, CB Joshua Dobson of Catawba Ridge and DB Harrison Luke of Bogart, GA, the son of Clemson offensive line coach Matt Luke.
Monday Clemson offered 2027 OT Jimmy Kalis (6-7 285) of Pittsburgh, 2027 OT Kennedy Brown (6-5 280) of Houston and 2027 LB Quinton Cipher (6-3 220) of Raleigh.
2027 Hammond LB Bubba Alexander (5-11 205) plans to camp at Clemson this week.
2027 WR Myles McAfee (6-1 175) of Waldorf, MD plans to camp at Clemson June 3rd.
2027 RB KJ Burg (6-0 185) of South Pointe plans to camp at Clemson on Tuesday.
2027 OT Carter Jones will make a camp stop at Clemson June 4th. He will also camp at Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama and Florida.
2027 DE Santana Harvey of Lakeland, FL plans to camp at Clemson this coming weekend.
2028 LB Quinn Jacobs (6-3 220) of Roswell, GA plans to camp at Clemson this weekend. He’s the brother of Clemson freshman OT Brandon Jacobs.
CB Khary Adams was strong on Penn State before his official to South Carolina over the weekend. He told 247Sports: “I don’t even know my list now. I really don’t know (the order). I am sorting through. I learned how I would be used. I am a press-man corner, so knowing they like that is good.” Adams has visited Penn State, and he has visits to Michigan, Notre Dame and Oregon coming up.
South Carolina target DT Aiden Harris posted on Saturday that his commitment will be made soon. He and his twin brother, DE Andrew, are scheduled to visit USC this weekend. They intend to commit to the same school. They are being projected to South Carolina by JC Shurburtt of TheBigSpur.
WR Amiri Acker of Crescent visited South Carolina Friday and will return for a camp workout Thursday.
South Carolina target DT Noah Clark has set July 2nd for his commitment date. He visited Duke over the weekend and has also visited Virginia. He has South Carolina this weekend, followed by Virginia Tech and NC State the next two weekends.
Chad Simmons of On3 Monday issued a projection to South Carolina for Northwestern SAF Tamarion Watkins. He visited Miami over the weekend. He has Georgia, Texas A&M and USC the next three weekends.
Stee Wiltfong of On3 and JC Shurburtt of TheBigSpur are projecting South Carolina to land QB Landon Duckworth for a second time. Duckworth originally committed to the Gamecocks in August of 2023 and decommitted the following June. He visited Auburn over the weekend. He has USC scheduled for this coming weekend followed by Florida State and Ole Miss.
2028 QB Grayson Clary, now of Rabun Gap, GA and formerly of Daniel, plans to make a camp stop at South Carolina on June 9th.
2027 Woodruff RB Aiden Gibson was offered by Tennessee.
Samford RHP Cullen Horowicz (6-4 220) announced a commitment to South Carolina. He made 12 relief appearances this season with an 0-1 record and 8.71 ERA He struck out 20 in 10.1 innings. He spent two years at Samford after a season at San Jacinto JC.
