The college football season is still months away, but there are a couple of games that already have the full attention of fans in the “Pelican State.” For LSU to have the kind of season Tiger fans are expecting, the two matchups against the Palmetto State loom large. The Bayou Bengals will open the season at Clemson on August 30th before hosting South Carolina on October 11th in SEC play.

Cory is currently the LSU beat writer for the USA Today Sports Network and Gannett Louisiana. So, in addition to Tiger football and baseball, he’s also got an informed opinion on the recent women’s basketball transfer of former Gamecock standout MiLaysia Fulwiley to Kim Mulkey and the Tigers.
