Clemson beat out stiff competition Friday for a commitment from WR Gordon Sellars (6-3 195) of Charlotte. Sellars chose the Tigers over South Carolina, Ohio State, Michigan and Georgia.
Sellars was recruited by Clemson receivers coach Tyler Grisham to fill an outside receivers role with his two other receiver commitments, Naseem Burroughs and Connor Salmin.
Sellars visited the Tigers two weekends ago. He was also in for their Elite Retreat gather on March 8th, and he took in a game last season.
Some of his other offers included Miami, Wisconsin, Duke, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Florida, North Carolina, West Virginia, NC State, Virginia Tech and Notre Dame.
Sellars missed three games with injuries last season. He caught 50 passes for 975 yards and 10 touchdowns. He gives the Tigers 14 commitments for their 2026 class.
He is also the teammate of another Clemson target, OT Leo Delaney.
