The Hotel Hartness in Greenville played host to the stars of South Carolina football on Thursday night as the 12th annual enshrinement ceremony for the SC Football “Hall of Fame” took place in the Upstate.
The Class of 2024 included Troy Brown, Jim Carlen, Buddy Pough, Duce Staley, and Jim Stuckey.
USC defensive end Kyle Kennard was awarded the Blanchard-Rogers Trophy, which goes each year to the state of South Carolina’s most outstanding collegiate football player. Meanwhile, Irmo High School wide receiver Donovan Murph won the “Bridge Builder Excellence” award, with Sabrina Greenlee being named the 2024 Humanitarian of the Year. Greenlee has dedicated her life to empowering women and fostering personal growth after enduring a violent attack earlier in her life that left her blind.
SportsTalk was in Greenville for the event and had a chance to speak with Brown, Kennard, and Pough to get their thoughts on the evening.
