Max Olson of ESPN reported South Carolina is one of the schools involved with West Virginia transfer RB CJ Donaldson (6-2 238) who just hit the Portal on Thursday. Olson reported that Miami, Florida State, Ole Miss and Texas Tech were other contenders. Clemson may also have some interest in Donaldson. In three seasons with the Mountaineers Donaldson rushed for 2058 yards and 30 touchdowns. Donaldson is a native of Miami and has one year of eligibility remaining.
Transfer CB Myles Norwood is on his official visit to USC which began on Thursday. Norwood is coming off a visit to Louisville, and he plans to visit Kentucky this weekend. Those three are his top choices. He told On3 earlier in the week that Kentucky has been his dream school.
Alabama transfer RB Justice Haynes is also visiting South Carolina arriving on Thursday. Haynes is coming off a visit to Ole Miss and is scheduled to visit Michigan this weekend.
USC target Wake Forest transfer WR Horatio Fields signed with Auburn.
One-time USC target transfer OL Derek Simmons committed to Oklahoma.
