The final stop on the Palmetto Pigskin Tour for 2024 was at the newest program in South Carolina. Anderson University started its football program three years ago when Bobby Lamb was hired. September 7th, the Trojans will play their first game ever against St. Andrews College at their on campus stadium.
This is the second build from scratch job for Lamb. The former Furman quarterback and head coach started the program at Mercer. In 16 seasons as a head coach Lamb has compiled a record of 108-79.
Lamb built his roster with one big high school recruiting class and then added over 20 transfers prior to this season. The Trojans will play in the South Atlantic Conference.
