One of the most important off-season additions to the South Carolina football roster was running back Rocket Sanders, a transfer from Arkansas. Two seasons ago, Sanders was arguably one of the top five running backs in the country after rushing for 1443 yards and 10 touchdowns. Against the Gamecocks in Fayetteville that season, Sanders rushed for 156 yards on 24 carries and scored twice.
Last season, injuries limited Sanders to just six games and 62 carries. Since arriving in Columbia, he has recovered from those injuries and is at 100% health as pre-season camp start starts to heat up.
Sanders talked one-on-one with SportsTalk last week at the USC media day.
