Linebacker Barrett Carter was expected by many to leave after this season for the NFL. But Carter thought otherwise. He announced earlier this month that he would return for another season in 2024. That was big news to Tiger fans.
This season Carter has 59 tackles with nine tackles for loss and three sacks. Yet, he wasn’t satisfied with how he played overall, and a chance to improve with another season of college ball was one of the reasons he gave for returning in a recent media session following a bowl practice.
