The state’s top prospect in the 2025 class DT Amare Adams (66 280) of South Florence is set to announce his college commitment sometime late Sunday afternoon or early evening. Adams plans to simply post his decision on social media. USC, Clemson, LSU, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida State and Georgia were the schools he named as his favorites when he put out his short list on July 11th. He went to games this season at USC, Clemson, Florida State, Alabama and Georgia. Adams has said little about his decision this seek. One observer at three of his practices this week, as he plays for a state championship Saturday afternoon, shared that he was wearing LSU gloves.
