USC is in the top six with ATH Kam Mikell of Statesboro, GA. He made an official visit in the summer with the Gamecocks and was in for the Mississippi State game this past Saturday. Mikell has indicated a desire to play receiver in college and the Gamecocks are targeting him for that right now, though he can also play in the secondary. The others on his short list are Colorado, Tennessee, Kentucky, Miami and Texas A&M. He was at Colorado for a game two weeks ago.

USC is included among the top 16 programs with 2025 6-5 Darryn Peterson of Canton, OH. Some of the others on the list are Auburn, Ohio State, Oregon, Louisville, Kentucky, North Carolina, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan State and Texas.
Clemson offered 2024 6-1 Ace Buckner of LaPorte, IN. He’s the son of former Clemson star and NBA standout Greg Buckner.
