OL Carter Jones plans to announce his commitment on Monday. Clemson, Penn State, Tennessee, and Georgia are the listed finalists, but Paul Strelow of TigerIllustrated has given a Clemson projection, typically an indication of a private commitment. Jones camped at Clemson last summer and has made multiple unofficial visits. He is scheduled for his official visit on March 29th. He has taken official visits to Penn State, Georgia, and Tennessee.
Clemson is one of the final four with CB Bryant Robinson (6-3 175) of Frisco, TX. The others are Texas Tech, Arizona, and Arizona State. He has an official visit with Clemson on May 29th. He also has offers from Houston, Oklahoma State, Boston College, Pitt, North Carolina, Purdue, TCU, UCLA, and Iowa, among others. Last season he had 46 tackles with six pass deflections and two interceptions.
South Carolina target LB AJ Randle of Raleigh committed to Miami.
South Carolina offered 2028 QB Trey Wright (5-11 180) of Frisco, TX. Last season, he passed for 4062 yards and 43 touchdowns, and he rushed for 1798 yards and 16 touchdowns. Oregon also offered him on Thursday. Some of his other offers include Kentucky, North Carolina, Arizona, Kansas, Purdue, Utah, Houston, UCLA, Michigan, Pijtt, Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU, and SMU.
South Carolina offered 2028 QB Carter Morgan (6-3 200) of Denton, TX. He also has offers from Kansas State, Syracuse, Purdue, Utah, Baylor, Houston, and others. Last season, he passed for 926 yards with seven touchdowns and no interceptions. He also rushed for 517 yards and five touchdowns.
South Carolina offered 2028 DE Nasir Walker (6-5 226) of AC Flora. Last season, he had 104 tackles with 14 sacks and 21 tackles for loss. Walker also has offers from Wake Forest, NC State, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, UCLA, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Florida State. He visited USC earlier in the spring.
