The Clemson Tigers are coming off perhaps their best performance of the football season, and head coach Dabo Swinney knows why. In Saturday’s 48-14 rout of Florida Atlantic, the Tigers were a plus-3 in turnover margin.
Meeting with the media on Sunday night, Swinney voiced how pleased he was with that aspect of his team’s play, though he cautioned his squad that there is still plenty of room for improvement.
Swinney also relayed the news that wide receiver Cole Turner would miss the rest of the season after tearing three of his abductor muscles. He discussed the current status of the Tigers’ place-kicking situation and responded to a question about the spirited conversation between Will Shipley and C.J. Spiller during the FAU game.
