A dozen practices are in the books for the USC pre-season camp. The Gamecocks worked out Thursday morning in shells and then headed off to their first day of classes. They will practice Friday night and then scrimmage on Saturday night inside Williams-Brice Stadium. The practice and scrimmage are closed to the public and the media.
Media were allowed in for the first six periods Thursday morning. One player who was not seen during the viewing window was freshman tight end Nyck Harbor. A team spokesman had no information on Harbor. Tight end Trey Knox did practice at full speed with a brace on one knee. Wide receiver Juice Wells remained out.
