Clemson football held its final full scrimmage of fall camp on Wednesday, and now the Tigers can train their focus on the 2023 opener against Duke. Head coach Dabo Swinney seemed pleased with what he saw from his team during the workout, calling it a “big day for a lot of guys.”
Swinney also pointed out that his backups made considerable progress from their first scrimmage this past Saturday. “We kinda went 1s on 2s all day,” Swinney told the media after practice. “The last scrimmage, I saw a pretty good gap. We held a few guys, but this scrimmage I saw some guys kinda make some strides and show that they belong.”
