



Under first year defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin, Clemson football ranked 28th nationally in total defense, 23rd in scoring, and 13th against the run. However, the Tigers finished around the middle of the pack in passing yards allowed per game, and head coach Dabo Swinney wants to see that change. As the Tigers opened spring practice on Monday, Swinney stressed that his team has got to improve against the pass and believes Goodwin has a good plan for fixing those issues.
On Tuesday, it was the DC’s turn to meet with the media and explain what tweaks he made to his unit and how much different that group might look in ’23.
