Westside High football coach Scott Early Thursday was named the new Executive Director of the South Carolina Athletic Coaches Association replacing the retiring Shell Dula. Thursday in Myrtle Beach, the association’s board met and voted to name Earley to the post.
Earley has also served as the director of the Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl.
Earley began his head coaching career in the state at Myrtle Beach where he won a state championship. in 2008. He’s also been the head coach at Lexington, Chapin and Westside.
